Enjoy a day trip to Cotopaxi Volcano located in Cotopaxi National Park. Departing from Quito, admire the beautiful Andes mountain range and enjoy a day away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Your tour includes transportation and a professional guide.Pickup from your hotel will begin at approximately 8am. Meet your guide and board a vehicle heading south of Quito and towards Cotopaxi National Park. On the way, you will take in the beautiful views of the Andes mountain range and gorgeous natural scenery.
Once you get to the park, you will visit the Interpretation Center and Limpiopungo lagoon. Take a short hike in the surrounding of Limpiopungo valley.
Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant (included, if option selected) and finally return to Quito and be dropped-off at your hotel.
Note: The National Park nowadays only allow us to go up to Limpiopungo Lagoon, not to the glazier, because Cotopaxi Volcano might have an eruption. Take a 3 - hour hike in from of Cotopaxi. The 3 hour hike goes from 3890 meters to 4500 meters to have a nice view of some volcanoes when it is clear.
