Enjoy this small-group day trip and visit first the coastal Costa Brava where you can enjoy some hiking, and then the medieval Girona, where you can walk through this historic city and discover its Jewish quarter and medieval cathedral.Once you are picked up from a centrally located meeting point in Barcelona, you will first head to Costa Brava - a coastal area near Barcelona famous for its beauty. You will admire its amazing rock formations, clifts and cristal turquoise sea water.
Once arrived to the unique Costa Brava, you will enjoy an easy hike through the amazing coastal path and you will discover old fishing villages and hidden beaches that are only accessible by foot. You will also admire the astonishing views from cliffs (Please note that even though the hike included in this tour is easy, it is not recommended for individuals who have difficulty walking).
Afterwards we will head to Girona, where you will have time for lunch (not included) and enjoy the local cusine if you wish.
Then you will enjoy a pleasant guided walk along the historic medieval quarter, where you will be able to admire its historical Jewish quarter (one of the most well preserved in Europe) and the astonishing Cathedral, dating from 1417 (the widest Gothic cathedral in the world).
In Girona you will also see the Onyar river and the famous colorful houses that are flanking the waterside,
You will then be taken back to Barcelona.
