Upon arrival, visitors will board to the pre-war type streetcars called “tramvias” touring around the island fortress. Corredigor Island -- “The Rock” as it became known during World War II, was the last Filipino-American bastion to fall to the Japanese. Enjoy a guided visit to the island’s many “silent guns” and historical landmarks. Be mesmerized by the Light and Sound Show inside the cavernous Malinta Tunnel, which served as General Douglas McArthur’s headquarters during the siege.
Lunch buffet will be served at the Corregidor Inn around 3pm, we will then take a ferry back to Manila and transfer to the hotel.
