This is a full-day tour that takes you back in history to the first colonized town in Antioquia and to the spectacular Christmas lights at the end of the day.

Stops are made at a rural cable car (Gondola), that displays the whole Cauca canyon that you are about to explore during the rest of the day.Your professional guide will meet with you at your accommodation and then embark you on a personalized tour by an air-conditioned transportation.
Tour heads northwest to one of the most fascinating scenarios just outside the city. It's name is San Sebastian where amazing views of the outskirts can be shared.
Upon arrival to this first stop you may walk around to take photos and use the facilities. There are cafeterias and restaurants and we suggest bringing cash since not all shops take credit cards.

Your professional guide will make a fascinating stop at Santa Fé de Antioquia, distinguished by its classy architecture and cultural heritage.
Once there, a walk around the town, before or after lunch, is the best way to check out the elegant religious churches and the history.

The best place to experience the colonial times is the Juan Del Corral Museum, which gathers objects, documents and historical facts on the colonization of Antioquia.
During the afternoon hours, we'll visits El Puente de Occidente, part of the National Heritage which is no longer used by cars since it is more than 200 years old, but it has free access and you are free to walk around and take pictures of the spectacular views before going back to Medellín at the end of the day for the Christmas lights.

At the end of the day you are headed to the main city boulevards to contemplate the spectacular Christmas lights that have made the city one of the top worldwide destinations for such holidays.
This final part of the journey takes a couple of hours and stops are made along the way to take photos and walk around the lights.

After approximately 9 hours of a fantastic journey, you should be already familiar with the city and main icons as your private driver/guide takes you back to your hotel or any other location you feel like.
