Feel free to start with early lunch or you may also do an early dinner instead in order to catch the spectacular Christmas lights later at night.Once our bilingual driver has met you at the hotel or the location you have suggested for pick up, tour heads downtown on a customized journey by an air-conditioned car.
First, tour stops at Botero Plaza where 23 amazing statues of the most popular local artist reside. There is enough time to walk around and take the best postcard pictures; there are convenient facilities where to grab snacks at any time so it's recommended to bring cash and/or Colombian pesos since not every store takes credit or debit cards.
After a guided visit, our local guide will wait for you to go on to the next stop further north and ride the cable car (Gondola), that will allow you to appreciate the innovative Santo Domingo Library which was awarded by the Bill Gates foundation due to its positive impact on the community.
Continue your ride on the cable car over the hill, quite worth since amazing views can be shared of the Medellín valley as you enter a lush natural reserve.
At the end of the day you are headed to the main city boulevards to contemplate the spectacular Christmas Lights that have made the city one of the top worldwide destinations for such holidays. This final part of the journey takes a couple of hours and stops are made along the way to take photos and walk around the lights.
After approximately 8 hours of a fantastic journey, you should be already familiar with the city and main icons as your private driver/guide takes you back to your hotel or any other location you feel like.
