Bring your sense of adventure as you travel through Golden on stand up paddleboards. You'll take a short tour through town, paddle along the Kicking Horse River and end on the Columbia River. While the water is moving, there is no whitewater. This 2-hour tour is suitable for the adventurous. No previous experience is required. Minimum 16 years of age.

Please note: Minimum of 2 people required per bookingThe Columbia Valley Explorer trip departs from the Alpine Rafting office at 5pm. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to the trip departure time. Your guide will give you a safety briefing prior to getting on the water.
Everyone will be set up with all the necessary equipment, including a wetsuit, neoprene boots, goretex spray jacket, life jacket, and helmet. Neoprene gloves are also available on board for your comfort. However, you may want to bring a fleece or wool sweater to wear as an extra layer of warmth on top of the wetsuit but underneath the spray jacket.
As an added bonus, digital photos from your day of rafting are available at the end of your tour - free of charge!
