The tour will start with a visit to Coimbra, home to the oldest university in Portugal and other monuments and historical treasures. Visit the University of Coimbra, which used to be a Royal Palace, where D. Dinis, the founder of the University, used to live. Visit the Church of Santa Cruz, a National Pantheon, where we can see the graves of D. Afonso Henriques, the first king of Portugal, and D. Sancho I.

This historical city was the birthplace of six Portuguese kings and the capital of Portugal.
