You will also experience a trip to the city of Limerick, the lunar landscap of the Burren, and Bunratty Castle.This full day tour to the world famous Cliffs of Moher begins at 8am in Cork city, where you will drive to Limerick, the capital of the mid-western region. The tour will make a stop on the banks of the longest river in Ireland, the river Shannon, where there will be a chance to marvel at the fantastic landscape. The tour will then continue to the main attraction at the Cliffs of Moher, where you will have time to stop and explore the landscape of this area of astonishing natural beauty. From here, the tour will move along the Atlantic coast where you will marvel at incredible views of Galway Bay and the Aran Islands. The tour will then arrive at the Burren where you will have the opportunity to take in the unique lunar landscape of this region. Home to many different kinds of flower, the Burren is a karst landscape of limestone rock. Finally, you will make a quick stop at Bunratty Castle before a lovely, leisurely driver back to Cork city, where you will have the chance to view rolling hills of the Golden Vale en route. You’ll arrive back in Cork at around 6:30pm.
