In the morning, your guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer you to visit Hua Qing Hot Spring at the foot of Lishan Mountain where Huaqing Pool Palace is located. The palace is called Huaqing Pool because it has many pools and hot springs. Bridges and pools together constitute this most elegant palace. On a rainy day, the whole palace is enveloped in mist which makes it even more beautiful. Huaqing Pool is made famous by imperial concubine Yang of Tang Dynasty. Yang Guifei was bathing in this place built by her love, the emperor. Lunch is provided at a local Chinese restaurant.
After lunch break, you will visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is labeled as “World’s Eighth Great Wonder” and the largest excavation of the 20th century. You will see artifacts of numerous life-size terracotta figures of warriors and horses in different features, facial expressions, clothing and hairstyles arranged in battle formations. This is a great opportunity to get a sense of Chinese ancient history and culture. After the museum visit, you will be driven back to your hotel where this tour concludes.
