All guides are trained, informative, knowledgeable and fun!You'll start your tour by traveling downstream in your minibus along the Niagara Gorge to the Giant Whirlpool, where the Falls are 6,000 years ago. During this 20-minute stop, learn about the geology that help create the Falls, the Spanish AeroCar, and the Whirlpool itself.
The next stop is Goat Island, located just above the Falls. It divides the rapids into 3 distinct falls: the American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls and the Horseshoe Falls. As you tour the island, learn about its history and the story of the Three Sisters Islands. View the upper rapids, Canada across the river, and the Rainbow Bridge.
Your first stop on Goat Island is Terrapin Point, which views the mighty Horseshoe Falls, Table Rock and the Canadian power generating stations. From there, it's a short walk to the Cave of the Winds, where you'll don complimentary raincoats and souvenir sandals. Take the elevator that brings you down into the gorge to experience the exhilarating boardwalk below the Bridal Veil Falls. You'll have a fantastic view of the American Falls, Luna Island, the Bridal Veil Falls and the Rainbow Bridge.
Once back on top, as you leave the island, make your way to the Three Sister Trading Post for souvenir and gift shopping and refreshments. Lastly, it's back to the State Park to visit Prospect Point, take in the views from the New York State Observation Tower and cruise below the Falls on the Maid of the Mist.
