On this tour you will learn how is the daily life of the vibrant capital of Chile, with all the attractions that no one should miss even those most typical corner of Santiago's life, we want you to know from the hand of our guides, so than you can keep with you the best experience of the culture and heritage of this city.We invite you to get to know Santiago, an important South America capital, through the hand of our specialist staff who will show you all the rich culture of this country, the old and modern architecture, taste delicious plates of food and of course drink Chilean wine.
The tour starts at 9:00am where we will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation in Santiago. We will then proceed and visit the rich and historic downtown where we will come by the same places as the Spanish settlers did, when they founded the city in 1541, like The Plaza de Armas where The Catedral of Santiago is located, The ex Government Building, Santa Lucia Hill, The National Library, Central Market, La Moneda Palace (Changing of the Guard depend on the day), and much more.
We will also show you Barrio Bellavista, a wonderful bohemian neighborhood, where you easily can enjoy a night out with gastronomy, drinks and much more. The area has a variety of activities like San Cristobal hill, the Zoo and the museum of Pablo Neruda “La Chascona”.
Then we proceed to a Nineteenth century neighborhood which still has many mansions, many of which are nowadays restored to become university buildings. If you like, we’ll also stop in the Club Hipico Race Track, to go to the modern part of the city in the financial district “Sanhattan”, Costanera Center, El Golf and Bicentennial Park. After this we have lunch time, the restaurant at your choice (guide recommends restaurant depending on the route) and then we go to the selected winery of your choice, either Undurraga, Concha y Toro or Santa Rita. The wine tour with a duration of 1-hour to 1-hour and 20 min, include wine expert guide, 3 tastings, a complete tour of gardens, plantations cellars and vaults, plus a free glass.
