Your 4-hour Hawaiian luau experience takes place at Oahu’s Sea Life Park, backed by towering cliffs and overlooks the Pacific Ocean. If you booked the royal package, take a mini-tour of the park's shark, dolphin and sea turtle exhibits. Learn the important role these sea creatures have played in the environment and culture of the Hawaiian Islands.

Once you’re greeted with a shell, kukui nut or flower lei (depending on option selected), explore Makapu‘u Meadows and choose from various games and crafts available. Ever wanted to learn to throw a spear? Why not try your hand at fire making? Learn how to weave a lovely headband or play a traditional Maori stick game from New Zealand. You can receive a Polynesian temporary tattoo, or take a hula lesson to prepare you for the evening ahead.

Afterward, join Chief Sielu as he presents the ‘Imu ceremony. Gather around as he demonstrates how your meal is prepared in a traditional earth oven, in the tradition of ancient Hawaiians.

Then, partake in a sumptuous Hawaiian feast — a blend of typical luau foods with regional Hawaiian cuisine (see menu in Itinerary below). Select seating in the standard section (one alcoholic beverage) or paradise section with priority access (two beverages), or receive table service in the royal section (three beverages). Sip your cocktail and enjoy an all-you-can-eat buffet with additional drinks available for purchase at the cash bar.

After dinner, the chief performs the Ava welcoming ceremony, a highly regarded ritual used for important occasions. Chief Sielu may even choose you as an honorary chief for the night!

Finally, delight in an interactive and humorous show as Chief Sielu and his ohana take you on an exploration of the Polynesian Islands. Marvel at the beauty of these traditional songs and dances, including a spectacular eight-man fire-knife dance.
