We will take you to a variety attractions such as the modern architect at White Temple (Wat Rongkhun), Ancient City of Chiang Sean, enjoy the atmosphere along Khong River by the long tailed boat. Lunch is included in the program with choice of international buffet lunch at the Imperial Golden Triangle or a wonderful local Thai food at the selected local restaurant.

Join this Chiang Rai day trip, a small-group with maximum of 9 people. We will take you to a variety attractions such as the modern architect at White Temple (Wat Rongkhun), Ancient City of Chiang Sean, enjoy the atmosphere along Khong River by the long tailed boat. Lunch is included in the program with choice of international buffet lunch at the Imperial Golden Triangle or a wonderful local Thai food at the selected local restaurant.This tour will starts with hotel pickup between 7am – 7:30am at your hotel lobby in Chiang Mai city area by our professional tour guide. You will be transported with the VIP 9 seats air-conditioned van and depart to Chiang Rai Province.
Along the journey, we will make a short break at Mae Khachan Hotspring and continue to Wat Rongkhun (or known as White Temple). It is private owned by a famous Thai artist, a gorgeous temple decorated with glass pieces makes it one of the most gorgeous temples you will ever see in Thailand.
After that, you will heading to Chiang Saen Ancient City, to learn some history about Chiang Saen Kingdom which connected to Chiang Rai, Chiang Mai and Lanna. Lunch will be served at the local restaurant with a special selected menu (the tour guide will provide the explanations for each dishes). Another choice of lunch will be international buffet lunch at the Imperial Golden Triangle Resort's Restaurant (you can discuss with the tour guide during the trip).
After lunch, we will move on to a temple for the view overlook the area called Golden Triangle continued by a long-tailed boat trip along Khong River. The Golden Triangle is the point at which the Ruag and Mae Khong River meet and where Myanmar, Laos and Thailand come together, and we will be stopping at one of Laos Local Village, (so, please bring along your passport).
Finally, we will visit one of the private run opium museum to understand the old day Opium Trade in the area together with their daily lifestyle connected to the Khong River before heading back to Chiang Mai (make another short break). Upon arrival in Chiang Mai, you will be transferred back to your hotel.
