This is not another walking tour. These small group tours whisk you off the beaten path by private tuktuk and offer unlimited beer and soda while you and your English speaking guide watch the city pass by. You will eat where the locals eat at small, family-run businesses and try the best local food at places you can’t find on your own. After 3-4 hours, you will finish at local bar overlooking the city to have a drink with the most unique view in town!You will be picked up at a central location near the Chunxi Road Pedestrian Street by private tuktuk and wind your way through the streets and communities of Chengdu to find the best food in the city. We’ll take you places where only locals go. You’ll cover a lot of ground and get off the beaten path to family-run restaurants that you (and other tourists) won’t find on your own. Between food stops, you’ll be able to chat with your English speaking guide about the city while drinking unlimited chilled beer and soda during the ride.

While visiting our 4-5 food stops, you will get to learn about the families that have been making their specialties for generations. You’ll watch your food being made and learn about what makes it so special to Chengdu locals. Whether it's enjoying hand-made dumplings in the chef's house, braving the spicy dishes Sichuan is famous for, or going crazy by sampling some of Chengdu's unique snacks, there is something to try for everyone.

The tour will finish at a special bar located high above the city where we'll treat you to a drink while enjoying the views and local life.
