Dive 1
Your first dive at Manta Point is at the Ray Cleaning Station and Manta Ray Bay Feeding Grounds which is off a big island around 20 kilometers south east of Bali. There are high cliffs on the South Coast of Nusa Penida to Manta Point. Enjoy stunning views with arched islands and steep hills.
There is a slight current. The difficulty of this dive site comes from the swell which can be strong as the Indian Ocean waves pound this coast. Manta Rays, Turtles, Fish and divers are all swinging together with the motion of the waves. Good buoyancy skills are needed.
The visibility on this dive is 10 to 30 meters. Manta Rays are attracted here by the amount of plankton and nutrients in the water. Bad visibility is often synonymous to having more Manta Rays in the water. The swell can also stir up the bottom and reduces visibility.
Dive 2
Your second dive will be at one of the following drift dive sites including Toyapakeh, SD, PED, Sental or Buyug. The coral reef state here has a great variety of hard and soft corals with most areas totally undamaged.
The species of fish you may see on this dive include big pelagic species such as giant tuna, oceanic sunfish and Thresher sharks.
The current can vary depending on the moon. Most dives are done drifting but some dive sites may have tricky vertical or pulsating currents.
Your visibility will be 20 to 40 meters with some of the best visibility in Bali, even in the wet season.
Groups of 4 divers maximum will be with each professional instructor. This is for your safety and enjoyment.
