Your journey will begin at the Discovery Tour Plaza, located in the heart of the quaint city of Avalon on Catalina Island. Your guide for the tour will be a friendly, informative, entertaining, and skilled driver. After climbing aboard the vehicle, you will travel along Pebbly Beach Road and enjoy gorgeous coastal views along the rocky shoreline. Your ascent of the rugged landscape will begin on Wrigley Road before turning on to the East End Road, where you will enjoy spectacular views of the East End of Santa Catalina Island. On a clear day, you may even be able to see San Clemente Island, off in the distance. The tour will continue on the Divide Road where you can enjoy grand views of Avalon Canyon as you travel toward the Summit overlook and pass the Wrigley Reservoir. From the Summit overlook you can take in the breath-taking panorama of the leeward side of the island, the San Pedro Channel of the Pacific Ocean, the City of Avalon, and on a clear day, the mountains of mainland Southern California. You will descend back to sea level along the Stagecoach Road, lined with beautiful eucalyptus trees, and conclude your journey where it began, at the Discovery Tour Plaza.
