Simón Bolívar birthplace is next on the list, a colonial house enriched by precious pieces of that period and paintings by famous artists such as Tito Salas who captured the most important highlights of El Libertador’s life. Visit to the Capitolio, Palacio Legislativo and Palacio Federal where the golden keys to Simon Bolivar’s mausoleum are kept.
Continuing by cable to car and reach the top of the Ávila Mountain Range. The Ávila National Park borders Caracas and separates the sea from the city. Take pleasure in breathing and admiring the pure and contrasting atmosphere, a different world from the rushed left down on the city. From here you will be able to see Caracas city in one side and the Caribbean Sea in the other.
