The Cappadocia Highlights Tour, also known as the Cappadocia Red Tour allows you to visit the highlights of the region.Your first stop on this tour is Cevizli, here you will see the old caves and pigeon houses as the base of Uchisar Castle, from here we continue to Love Valley to take in the panorama view and provide the geological history of the area.
The next stop is the UNESCO Goreme Open Air Museum. Inside you will visit many of the churches carved into the rocks of Old Goreme. The open air museum is home to some of the regions best preserved frescoes, dating from the 10th through to the 13th Century.
You will stop to enjoy lunch before travelling on the Cavusin, possibly the oldest village in Cappadocia. Afterward the tour stops in Avanos, where you will have a demonstration of the pottery makings that date back to the Hittite Period.
Following on from this the tour will visit Pasabag, also known as Monks Valley where you will have time to wander through the famous mushroom-like fairy chimneys, before travelling onto Devrent Valley (Imagination Valley) to further explore the rock formations, with the likes of a camel and the Mother Mary.
The last stop on the tour is that of the Three Beauties, these are possibly the most photographed rock formations in Cappadocia. Should the group wish, we also have some time for some wine tasting from the local region before being returned to your hotel.
