Cape Point has an array of activities and views to enjoy. The Flying Dutchman Funicular railway takes guests up to the old lighthouse to enjoy the panoramic views. It is believed to be the only commercial funicular of its type in Africa, and takes its name from the local legend of the Flying Dutchman ghost ship.
There are four ship wreck trails to choose from, namely; Olifantsbos Point, Phyllisia, Buffels Bay and Cape Point. These trails all take you to the sites where famous ship wrecks have taken place.
