Go for a bike ride in dirt tracks, feel the grandeur of being in the middle of a pond flanked by green hills, venture out to discover the alleys and romantic gardens paths from the 18th century. Bathe in thermal water pools or explore our nature on a horseback ride. Regardless of the area, it will always be the smell of fumarole, the colors of the gardens and the dormant volcano beating.Invoke the tranquility of the location where you will have the opportunity to enjoy all the built heritage in this bucolic place until reaching the place where you find fumarole and boiling waters. On the banks of the lake, and due to volcanic activity, locals make traditional stew. The return is made by the central part of the lagoon so you may enjoy the surroundings of the site. After lunch at a restaurant in the Furnas village, you will start the mountain bike ride. It's a circular route (10.5 kms) which starts in Furnas village, follows to the calderas area by Lagoa das Furnas and continues through the dirt road that surrounds the lake. The highest point of this tour is located in the area of Pico dos Milhos, where you can admire the parish. The descent is made by secondary paths leading back to the beginning point. After finishing the activity, the return to Ponta Delgada is made by the North coast of the island.
