Visit the beautiful town of Camana Bay for a bird’s eye-view of the entire Island, from its 75-foot observation tower, one of Grand Cayman's tallest and most modern and amazing structures ever built. Later, relax at the world-famous Seven Mile beach.Depart from your pick-up location and head towards West Bay road in an air conditioned vehicle until reaching the town of Camana Bay. The tour guide will then show you the highlights of this newly build town and escort you to the observation tower for a 360-degree view across Seven Mile Beach, George Town, the North Sound, and beyond.
Just as impressive as the tower’s outlook, is the journey to get there via a double helix staircase, climbing alongside a floor-to-ceiling mosaic depicting Cayman’s reefs and marine life. One of the largest and most detailed underwater glass mosaic of its kind, it has 180 varieties of colored glass and over 3 million tiles comprising the mosaic image, all of the sea life shown in it are actual examples found in the reefs surrounding the Cayman Islands. This amazing artwork took one year to hand-cut and assemble all of the glass tiles and eight months to install the mosaic. It's a must see.
The next stop is the Governor’s Mansion, followed by the Old Homestead, one of the oldest family homes standing on the island, built about 200 years ago. Then go to Hell and back for 15 minutes and the 7 Mile/ Royal Palms beach after for some fun in the sun.
