Meet your guide at 8:00am in the lobby of your hotel, where he will escort you to the Giza pyramids. Then after a short drive you will travel to the Sphinx. Soak up the panoramic views and enjoy a 30 minute camel ride and see all the area. Continue on to Sakkara where you will have the opportunity to see the step pyramid built for King Zoser and explore some amazing tombs. You will have lunch in a good quality restaurant overlooking the Sphinx and the pyramids and then be transferred back to your hotel. You'll have some leisure time before meeting your guide who will take you to dinner at the Nile cruise. There, you will witness a belly dance show and a dervish dancer. Head back to your hotel after dinner.
Day 2: Cairo City Tour
Your Egyptologist guide will pick you up to explore the Egyptian museum which houses many historical artifacts such as the golden mask for King Tut, boy king of Egypt. Discover the museum with your guide and then head on to the Coptic area to see the Hanging Church and Jewish synagogue of Ben Ezra before continuing on to visit the famous market (Khan el-Khalil) and the charming mosque in Cairo built for Muhammad Ali Pasha. Enjoy lunch at a good quality restaurant and then head back to your hotel.
Day 3: Alexandria City Tour from Cairo
Leave your hotel at 7:00am and head on to Alexandria to start day three. Alexandria has an unique history dating back to Alexander the great when Alexandria was a small colony. There you will see the unique Roman catacombs of Kom al Shokkafa, Pompey's pillar and the remains of the temple of god Serapis . Afterwards, you will visit the unique fortress of Quitbay which protected Alexandria during the Islamic period in Egypt. Enjoy your lunch at a seafood restaurant overlooking the Mediterranean and wonder at the New Library of Alexandria before heading back to Cairo and concluding your last day of the tour.
