Without a doubt this has to be one of the most popular excursions, a trip not to be missed when visiting Egypt! Experience the magnificent pyramids and Sphinx atop the Giza plateau, the Egyptian Museum / Tutankhamen, travel by Felucca on the River Nile, visit the papyrus institute and much much more.Pick up from your hotel will be around 04:30am giving sufficient to catch your flight to Cairo, your arrival time in Cairo is approx: 07:00 am. Meet your guide upon arrival who will spend the day with you and your group, (all guides are fluent in English, Russian, Polish and of course Arabic, as well as being very experienced with a mindful of knowledge of Cairo / Egypt and it's history). Transportation around Cairo is by a fully air conditioned vehicle.
Start your day by visiting the Ancient Egyptian museum where you will spend approximately 2 hours exploring around, a full explanation will be given to you of the main features and artefacts including Tutankhamen and other famous Pharohs of Egypt. Our next stop will be to the Papyrus Institute where we will stop for approximately 45 minutes, see how original papyrus is made and the opportunity to purchase Egyptian drawing's on natural Papyrus paper. Following on from here we will drive to the River Nile where the option is available to take a boat trip by 'Felluca' (for an extra cost - payable at source) to the restaurant where we will stop for lunch (or select to stay on the minibus to travel by road). Lunch is of buffet style and is included in the cost / any drinks taken must be paid for as an extra.
After lunch you will start a journey on to the Pyramids which has to be the highlight of any trip to Egypt (entrance fees are included to the plateau area with the Pyramids, the sphinx and the solar museum,) a fee is payable to enter the larger of the pyramids. You will spend around 2 - 2.5 hours in the area, after which time there is a short amount of time available for a little shopping with the local Bedouins who sell souvenirs by the roadside en route to the car park. We stop at a perfume factory for approx 45 minutes on our way back to the airport, arriving at Cairo airport around 18:00 for your return flight back to Sharm arriving back to your hotel at approx 20:30.
