Spend a morning on a stand up paddleboard tour exploring the rainforests of beautiful Far North Queensland. Paddle along viewing wildlife, beautiful scenery, and experience this magical place with the peace and freedom of a Stand up paddleboard.You will be picked up from your Cairns, Northern Beaches or Kuranda accommodation around 8am and transported up the scenic Kuranda range to the start point on the Upper Baron River. After setting the boards up and a quick introduction, its straight out on the water. You will be guided along the rugged river with the opportunity to stop for a swim along the way. The beautiful, heritage-listed rainforest lines the banks of the river, and is home to abundant wildlife such as birds and tree snakes. There are no saltwater crocodiles here, but if you are lucky you can see platypus as well as fish and turtles. All equipment and instruction is included as well as a light morning tea of fresh local fruit, cake and cold drinks. You will be returned to your Cairns accommodation around lunchtime.
