Your tour begins with a briefing at the hotel in Cusco the night before you depart. On the first day, you will drive from Cusco to Pachar in the Sacred Valley, reaching Huaroncondor to trailhead. You will meet a muleteer and horses and prepare the camping equipment. You'll then climb up the stairs and visit to Huarocondor terraces. Continue to Raphcca, 2,900 meters (9,514ft.) hiking up along the valley seeing Inca Terraces and Quechua communities. Reach a waterfall and rest for a bit to then reach the Inka site of Corimarca, your first campsite.

Day 2: (B) (L) (D)
Climb across open meadows and reach Puna near the Chancachuco Pass at 4,400 meters above sea level (14,435ft). Enjoy panoramic views of the highest peaks in Cusco and continue through a high plateau passing lakes and mountains to then reach the second campsite of QeuƱacancha.

Day 3: (B) (L) (D)
You will hike downhill following until reaching the Inka water channel which comes from Maracocha lake. Then, you'll see Intiwatana, which is located on the edge of the mountain called Apu Alambre. Continue downhill to Choquetacarpo an archaeological site, which was most likely the residence of architects who managed the Inca quarries and performed ceremonies at Intipunku. Enjoy lunch and explore some sectors of one of the biggest Inka quarries.The quarried stones, testimony to a great building project that was never finished and were destined for the Inka site of Ollantaytambo. Finally, reach your last campsite near the village of Cachicata. Here, you can enjoy toilets, hot showers and a warmer climate.

Day 4: (B)
Wake up very early  and after the breakfast head to the train station and take the train to Aguas Calientes town where your guide is waiting for you to take you to Machu Picchu. Enjoy a guided tour of Machu Picchu and then explore this mysterious Inca settlement on your own. At night, take the train to Ollantaytambo and transfer you to Cusco.
