Your cooking class begins as you meet your guide at a central location in Cabo San Lucas. The tour begins with a visit to some of the local spice markets and to the "Tortillería." At both places, you'll buy the fresh dough to hand make your own corn tortillas and other ingredients for the dishes and the salsas of the day. After selecting and buying the produces, you will go to the home of the Chef for the hands-on cooking class. Your chef will share with you some of his family’s most traditional recipes, cooking techniques and you will indulge yourself into the delicious meals that are crafted by the locals. Prepare delicious dishes (these vary per day) and take home great knowledge of the importance of food in Mexican culture and recipes you can share with family and friends. Menu per day:
Monday: Fish filet in Veracruz sauce and Sea Food soup
Tuesday: Tamales (chicken or pork or beef)
Wednesday: Beef Birria in Adobo Sauce
Thursday: Carnitas or Pork in Tomato sauce
Friday: Paella
Daily: Two or more different salsas, Mexican side dishes or soups and Fresh Home made Corn Tortillas.
