You will be picked up from your hotel by the bus between 8:00am to 8:30am depending on your hotel location and then proceed to the Longji scenic area (approx. 2 hours ride with a restroom stop on the way).
Around 11:00am you will arrive at the ticket booth where you might need to change to a local shuttle for the rest of the journey if your bus is too big. You will be transferred to the Huangluo Yao Village that is about 5 minutes away and then stroll among the local wooden houses. Enjoy a unique performance that shows you how the local women brush, braid and coil their long hair in a traditional and beautiful way.
Then continue your trip to Ping’an Village, where the largest scale of rice terraces is located. En route enjoy a lunch served at one of the local restaurants at a village located on the half way to the mountain after 30 minutes hike. After lunch and some break continue climbing up to the top where you could enjoy a birds-eye view of the rice terraces at an elevation of 2,886 feet. The mesmerizing view of the rice terraces varies depending on the season - layers of watered fields in the spring and lush green rice shoots in the summer, a whole piece of ripe golden rice in the autumn, and everything covered in white snow in the winter.
After the sightseeing head back to the parking lot around 4:00 pm and drive back to Guilin city. You will be dropped off at your hotel.
