After meeting your guide at your Gold Coast hotel, travel a short distance to the subtropical rainforest of Burleigh Head National Park. Here you will explore the serenity of the rainforest as you make your way towards the Burleigh headland to view the incredible Queensland coastline views.
Next, you’ll be transferred to the tidal waters of Tallebudgera Creek where your Australia certified guide will show you proper kayaking techniques and maybe a few new instructions for you more advanced paddlers.
Explore the mangrove banks and waterways as you paddle to the front door of David Fleay Wildlife Park. David Fleay Wildlife Park has been operating on the Gold Coast since 1953 and is National Park ran and operated.
Once inside the Gold Coast wildlife park, you will be able to spot Australia’s native wildlife such as koalas, crocodiles and tree kangaroos. You will experience two shows while in the Wildlife Park, one show featuring up close and personnel Australian wildlife followed by the nocturnal house exhibit featuring the only Gold Coast platypus exhibit. Along the way you will enjoy a light breakfast on the beach and learn how to throw a boomerang (subject to weather conditions).
