Explore the wild side of Curacao during an off-road buggy adventure! This 2.5-hour excursion takes you caravan-style along rugged terrain on the northeast coast. Your tour includes a stop at a coastal blowhole, Indian caves and the Curacao Ostrich Farm. This small-group tour is limited to 18 people, ensuring personalized attention from your guide.Begin your adventure with a pre-tour orientation after pickup from your hotel in Willemstad. After your safety briefing, hop into your automatic buggy and follow your guide for 15 minutes down a country road. Your small group will drive by caravan and take a turn onto an off-road coastal trail, which features stunning desert scenery punctuated by cactus.
Stop en route at your first attraction – the blowhole – where you’ll spend 15 minutes learning about this natural phenomenon as you watch sea water spurt upwards in an exciting spray. After some great photo opps, continue your drive along the northern shore and watch magnificent waves crash against the coast.
Next, stop at the Indian caves, located in Christoffel National Park. Here, your guide will lead you to the top for astounding views of the entire shoreline. If the air is clear, keep an eye out for neighboring islands like Bonaire and Klein Curacao, the ‘Castaway Island.’
After taking in the view, hop back in your buggy and continue to the Curacao Ostrich Farm, located in the St Joris Lake area. Here, get up close to these fascinating birds, and learn more about them from a guide. Afterwards, enjoy refreshments or the souvenir shop (own expense), where you can find unique ostrich souvenirs.
Your tour ends with a buggy drive back to your initial departure point and return transfer to your hotel.
