You will be pickup from your hotel and head to Downtown Buenos Aires. You will see the 'Plaza de la República' on 'Avenida 9 de Julio' where the Obelisk of Buenos Aires is placed. You will be able to appreciate the monument that was placed in 1936 to honor the foundation of the city.
You will continue to 'Plaza de Mayo', home to the "Casa Rosada", the official office of the Argentine president, the Metropolitan Cathedral and city hall.
You will reach the south part of the city of San Telmo, where you can admire the colonial architecture and continue to the neighborhood of 'La Boca' with its famous football stadium of Boca Juniors. Here, you'll visit the famous 'Caminito' street with its colorful buildings and local artists selling their work.
Head to the north part of the city. You will drive through 'Puerto Madero', considered the most fashionable district in Buenos Aires. You'll then pass by Libertador Avenue to reach the district of Palermo. This neighborhood is home to the largest park in the city and the zoo of Buenos Aires.
You'll finally reach Recoleta, one of the most exclusive neighborhoods in the city and see the famous Recoleta Cemetery (where Eva Peron is buried), as well as elegant shops, beautiful architecture and cafes.
Tigre Delta Half-day Tour (afternoon)
After the city tour, the bus will drop you off in central Buenos Aires where you’ll met your guide for the Tigre Delta Tour. Board a bus and drive along Costanera Avenue to San Isidro. Once there, see its cathedral and the many mansions inhabited by old aristocratic families before continuing on to Tigre. Here, you will board a catamaran for a 40-minute cruise through the delta. See how people live on the islands and interact with floating services: the supermarket boat, water taxi and more. See the homes built on stilts and President Sarmiento’s home/museum.
At the end of the boat ride, return to your coach for the drive back to Buenos Aires, where you tour ends downtown.
Dinner & Tango Show at Piazzolla Tango (evening)
After pickup from your downtown Buenos Aires hotel, you’ll arrive at the historic Guemes Gallery, designed by Francisco Gianotti in the early 1900s. Be swept away by the energetic atmosphere of the tango show, performed in the gallery’s Astor Piazzolla Theatre, named after the famous Argentine tango composer and musician. You'll get there 90 minutes before the show to enjoy a delicious three-course dinner including a variety of Argentine and international dishes, accompanied by Argentine wines.
While you watch the dancing and listen to the music, enjoy the rich interior of the gallery, decorated with bronze sculptures and intricate wall designs. With 14 artists on stage, you will be witness of an unforgettable night.
