Visit Szentendre, the picturesque village near Budapest, the home of painters and artists. Szentendre today is considered as our out of the city Soho, full of bars, CD and bookshops, galleries and restaurants. In summer time they hold open air festivals too, at Christmas time you can browse between handmade folklore objects and slip hot wine in the Christmas Museum.
Serbians and Bulgarians were living here from the Middle Ages, and this was the centre of Serbian Church in Hungary for centuries. Admire the beautiful orthodox churches and the treasures of them in the Serbian Museum. See the world famous ceramic collection of Margit Kovács. Visit the Marzipan Museum and the Doll Museum of Szentendre, or just walk on the narrow, picturesque streets of the town, where on almost every corner you find something worth to make a picture of, or can select your own souvenir from the numerous paintings, aquarells and graphics offered by artists working on the street.
On the way there and back you can admire the natural beauties of the Danube Bend, Visegrád Castle, and of course Budapest's sights as well. The panoramic boat trips lasts two hours from Budapest, before returning we have a great walk on Szentendre cobblestone streets, including the famous sights of the village.
