This tour allows you to explore all that Bruges has within one day. Whether it is a visit to the cathedral or the many galleries and museums, the “Venice of the North” will not disappoint. This trip includes return luxury coach travel, return channel crossing (Eurotunnel or ferry), plenty of free time to discover the fairy-tale city and the services of a tour manager.After our central London pickups we begin our journey to the port to take either the Eurotunnel or Ferry to France. We arrive in France and commence our coach journey to Brugge, Belgium. Our estimated time of arrival to Brugge is 1:30pm where you will have the remainder of the afternoon to explore the city.
Brugge is the capital of the Belgian province of West-Flanders with a population of 120,000 people. This large city has plenty to offer with a variety of museums to visit such as The Groeninge Museum or The Bruges Beer Museum. The city also has many historical sites to visit on your day tour such as the statue of the renowned Bruges painter Jan van Eyck (1370 – 1441) or the Rozenhoedkaai that continues to be one the most photographed spots in Bruges. You may also enjoy a panoramic view of Brugge at the top of the Belfry in the city center.
At approximately 4:15pm we will depart from Brugge to crossing back to the UK. The approximate arrival time back in to central London is 11pm.
