This tour offers the main activities of Foz do Iguaçu city: the gorgeous waterfalls which are considered the second largest in the world; the Bird Park, a local center for the rescue and conservation of numerous species of birds; and the most powerful hydroelectric power plant in the world.The tour starts when the tour guide picks you up in your accommodation and drives you to the entrance of the Iguassu National Park. Once there, you'll pay the ticket and enter in the heart of the park for eleven kilometers to the trail off the falls. In the 1.200 meters off trails you will walk around a panoramic view of 95% of the falls. The amazing catwalk provides a view of the Devils Throat and the panoramic elevator to finish the tour.
The next destination is the Birds Park, where you will experience direct contact with more than 1,020 birds from about 150 different species in a walking tour of 1,5 kilometers through the aviaries of toucans, parrots, macaws. In some of the aviaries, the trail takes you automatically inside with the birds all around you.
The last part of the tour will be the tour to the hydroelectric dam installed in the Paraná river, the natural border between Brazil and Paraguay. This dam is considered the most powerful in energy generation; in the visitors center, you will watch a documentary about the construction. The tour will be in a panoramic bus to see the external part of the dam, a ride of 1.5 hours by bus, stopping twice for pictures. This tour will be guided by a technical guide of the dam to complement the technical information provided.
