Here you will have the opportunity to get the postcard shot of the Great Ocean Road sign hung from the Memorial Arch. Then make your way down to the beach for your first coastal walk.
Your next stop will be a photo opportunity in the beautiful seaside town of Lorne. Head up to Teddys Lookout highly regarded as one of the best lookouts on the Great Ocean Road. Here, walk out to two stunning lookouts offering a unique perspective of the Great Ocean Road.
Continue your journey along the most scenic part of this morning’s drive with a photo opportunity at Mount Defiance. Stop for an extended break from the road at Kennett River to spot as many koalas as you can as well as attract many wild parrots and crimson Rosella's. Next, enjoy a hike along the Great Ocean Walking track for your first glimpse of the impressive limestone stacks standing strongly in the thunderous Southern Ocean. Hike the last 500-meters of this inspiring trail offering stunning views of the 12 Apostles. The Great Ocean Walk then leads you to Gibsons Steps.
