Discover the wonders of the Asian and European sides of Istanbul from the sea. Sail under the Bosphorus Bridge,Ortaköy Mosque, and Dolmabahçe Palace. Explore quaint neighborhoods and learn the history of this wonderful city.Set sail on this epic adventure between Europe and Asia on Istanbul's beautiful Bosphorus Straight. Along your ride you will see wonders of both East and West sailing along this lovely isle separating Europe and Asia, accompanied by a multilingual guide.
Istanbul is a city that inspires body and soul with its power. From the noise of the Grand Bazaar to the peaceful beauty of the Blue Mosque, no trip to Istanbul is complete without a view of this sprawling metropolis from the Bosphorus. On this cruise and two-continents tour, accompanied by your multilingual tour guide, you will be treated to several stops along this epic waterway, which divides Europe and Asia.
The ferry operates from Kabatas Beginning at 10:45, you will step onto a traditional boat, with seats on the outside for perfect and unobstructed views of the city around you.
Once the ship sets sail again, we pass many lovely houses built along the European Side of the straight. We will pass by huge European Fortresses constructed by Sultan Mehmed II in 1452 before the conquering of Istanbul. This one man brought the whole of the Byzantine Empire to its knees, and all at the age of 20!
After a nice provided lunch, we now jump continents and set sail for Asia. Here we'll see the restored Turkish Houses (Yali) which stand stoically on the waterfront. You'll be amazed at how close to the water these houses are, and it's because the Bosphorus has no low or high tide to worry about, so they can build right up to the banks! The tour ends with a return to your hotel or cruise ship.
