Explore the underworld of the Adriatic while swimming and diving in caves, a truly amazing experience. These caves are a must-see. The Blue Grotto is one of the most attractive in a series of caves located on the Bisevo Island. After departure at 8:30, at about 10:30 you reach Blue Grotto on the east side of the island Bisevo, opposite of Komiza town, Island Vis. This is an ideal time to visit the cave that has two entrances. One of them is small, artificially deepened, and it is wide enough for a rowboat. This entrance has no effect on the lighting in the cave. The second opening/entrance is arched and much broader. It’s on the south side of the cave, below sea level and sunlight gets through it. Around noon, when the sea is calm, the sun’s rays penetrate through an underwater opening in the Blue Cave, reflect light from the white bottom and illuminate the cave blue and objects in the water silver. Due to its low depth and underwater cracks, the cave is also suitable for diving. Depth is 3m - 20m.
After visiting the cave, you next go to the one of the most beautiful beaches on the Adriatic – Stiniva. This beautiful pebble beach is visible only when you sail in between two cliffs, and those are just 4m apart.
Next destination is Green Grotto. This is a cave on the island of Ravnik with two entrances and an opening at the top through which the light enters, bounces off the seabed and colors the walls in green. Near the Green Cave there is a small uninhabited island called Budikovac. The island has a beautiful pebble beach, and a small bay sheltered from the open sea which has become an attractive refuge for many yachters who love to spend their holidays here.
At 2:30pm you arrive at Pakleni otoci near Hvar, at the most famous resort of Palmizana. Here you stay a bit longer for a swim and lunch.
After a break at 4:30 you come to town Hvar, the most famous Croatian tourist destination. The tour lasts an hour and then it is time to go back.
