Meet your local guide and tour group at the Dockyard in Sandy's Parish to start your Bermuda sightseeing tour.
First up is the 1-hour drive across the islands to Walsingham Nature Reserve, a site known locally as Tom Moore’s Jungle, in honor of the Irish poet who wrote some of his poems here, and Blue Hole Park. At Blue Hole Park with your guide, take a tour of the caves (flashlight provided), go for a swim in the cave pools, admire the lush forest setting and keep your eyes peeled for native birds. You will have approximately 2 hours to enjoy your time at Tom Moore's Jungle and Blue Hole Park.
Continue with a trip to St David’s Head, a lookout point in St George’s parish, about 15 minutes from Bailey’s Bay. Located on Bermuda’s easternmost point, the headland offers panoramic views of the islands and sea and is home to a 17th-century fort. Stop for photos, and then head to the neighboring St David’s Lighthouse for more incredible views.
Then visit Cooper’s Island, just a couple of miles south of St David’s Head. One of Bermuda’s top snorkeling locations, the area is also home to a nature reserve. After donning the provided snorkeling gear — mask, fins and snorkel — hop in the water and look for fish and other local marine life swimming around the coral reef. If you don’t want to snorkel, simply use some free time to swim or relax on the beach instead.
Lastly, head down the road to Bailey’s Bay Ice Cream Parlour, a family-owned shop where a scoop of homemade ice cream awaits — pick from 30 flavors!
Your tour finishes with the 1-hour drive back to the original start point. You will be given your packed lunch at the start of the tour and can eat it whenever you get hungry; the lunch box includes a sandwich, fruit, cookie and bottle of water.
