In the morning, you will be picked up from your hotel. Drive to the Ming Tombs and visit Dingling Tomb. Dingling Tomb (the Underground Palace) is the only tomb of the thirteen to be excavated. The outdoor structures of the tomb are very interesting, with beautiful views of the surrounding mountains. Then continue driving to the Badaling Great Wall. Constructed in 1502 (during the Ming Dynasty), once served as a crucial military fortification, it is now the most impressive and representative section of the striking Great Wall. Twisting and turning at an altitude of 1,000 meters (3,281 feet), the Badaling Great Wall appears exceptionally lofty on the undulating mountains. Both Richard Nixon and Margaret Thatcher visited this section of the wall. Have a good visit here then you will be transferred back to your hotel.
