Meet your guide at your hotel in the morning to visit the visit the Jingshan park. It is an former imperial garden, lies to the east of Beihai Park. The site, which covers a total of almost 2 miles and incorporates a huge lake within its boundaries, has long been a royal garden and was considerably enlarged during the reign of Empress Dowager Cixi who effectively controlled China for 47 years between 1861 and 1908. Your final destination is a tea ceremony, to learn more about China’s tea culture, before we take you back to your hotel.
