Follow your local guide in this 18km hike from the city center to Alba then Barbaresco and back. Enjoy a cold 'farmer's brunch' including salami, cheese, bread-sticks, frittata, dessert and other salty specialties, all paired with 4 different wines. Meet the family that runs this small local Barbaresco winery and visit the cellars.Meet your local guide and leave the city center of Alba behind as you explore the UNESCO Langhe hills. Enjoy breathtaking views over the Medieval towers of Alba and find the roots of the local writer Beppe Fenoglio. Crossing vineyards and paved countryside roads, arrive to the winery to meet the family and visit their cellars. Indulge in a typical "merenda sinoira," the farmer's brunch made of salami, cheese, breadstiks, appetizer and other cold specialties, all paired with at least 4 different wines. After this long break, continue to the tower of Barbaresco overlooking the Tanaro river with views over the entire Piemonte region. Enjoy free time in town before starting hiking back to Alba.
