This is a great way to see a lot of Bangkok if you only have a short time. Walk around the markets in Chinatown, experience riding a tuk tuk (for which Bangkok is famous!) and ride down the Chayo Praya River seeing many magnificent sites as they pass by.This tour starts off with a pick-up at your hotel around 8:15-8:45am and the driver will take you to Hua Lamphong Railway Station where you will meet the guide around 9:15am.

We walk through the main entrance to see Thailand’s Main Railway Station and our guide will give a brief history of the station. We then jump on a tuk tuk, driven by one of our safe professional drivers who take us to Wat Tien Fa, which is one of the oldest and most famous Chinese temples in Bangkok. From here we enter Chinatown on foot, witnessing the gold shops, low priced food stores and many other shops as they open up for the day and before the foot traffic is too busy.

Our next stop is Sampeng Market, Chinatown’s enormous market. The guide will purchase some typical Thai desserts for you to sample and we walk along the tiny laneways in the market. We then jump back on the tuk tuks and drive past Little India and around the King Rama 1 Monument before stopping at Paklong Talad, Bangkok’s biggest wholesale and retail fresh flower market. We stroll around the market marveling at the many different flowers on display. Crossing the street we see where they sell the flower garlands and also many different vegetables.

Traveling back on the Tuk Tuks we travel along the roads around the Grand Palace walls and finish our Tuk Tuk experience at Ta Chang Pier., where we take a journey by riverboat down river to the River City Pier. The River City Pier is close to the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel and our tour finishes with a transfer back to your hotel.
