Join a colorful local market where many ethnic minorities come and sell their product as well as exchange farming information. Furthermore, enjoy a short walk to a village of the Tay people and a boat trip on Chay River, all very impressive with rice fields surrounded by magnificent mountainous scenery.Ban Cam market is located near the road to Bac Ha, around half an hour drive from Lao Cai. The market is quite small but is very colorful. Every Tuesday, many ethnic minority groups such as the Flower H’mong, Black Dao and Tay come with their handicrafts, foods, animals and many other variety of things, not only for trading but also for participating in this social event.

After visiting the market, ride uphill, maybe together with some Flower H’mong villagers who are on their way back home from the market, to visit their village. You then walk through a hidden but very beautiful and peaceful valley and on the way and visit a Nung minority village. You will then meet your vehicle for the journey back.
