Your day will start with the famous Barong and Kris Dance show. Barong is a character in the Bali mythology who is the king of the spirit and the leader of the hosts of good. Following by going to Celuk the center of gold and silversmiths, experiencing the wood carvings, visiting the Tirta Empul Temple and an art gallery in Ubud.

The dance describes the eternal struggle between good (Barong) and evil (Rangda) spirit. It ends with a scene where the kris dancers fall into a trance and try to kill the demon Rangda.The show is accompanied by Gamelan music, the traditional music of Bali and Java.
After the dance we will proceed to Celuk, the center of gold and silversmiths. The gold and silver items are of high quality and feature unique designs as the craftsmen are known for their skills and industriousness.
Next stop is Mas, a village of art with focus on wood carvings. All the wood carving stores have an open working area where you can see the skilled craftsmen making wood products like masks, tables, chairs or statues. The craftsmen work with different kind of wood such as banyan or palm.
The holy spring of Tirta Empul Temple will be the next stop. The temple is surrounded by a large shrine to honour God Indra. The bathing pools are believed to have strong curative powers. On the hill behind this temple is a presidential palace built by the first President.
Your next stop is Kintamani where you can enjoy lunch with breathtaking views over the caldera lake of Danau Batur. Going down the hill,you will pass the greeneries of Tegallalang with its beautiful rice paddies and coconut trees.
You will stop at one of Ubud's art galleries with works of art that suits every taste and will also make a short stop at Tohpati, which is known for its batik. In this village you can watch the whole batik making process.
