Tours begin at 9am, 11am, 1pm, and 3pm and last for 1.5 - 2 hrs.The Aviator’s Tour takes you behind the scenes to the heart of the hangars that housed the aircraft and the heroes of the War in the Pacific. Veteran docents take you on a journey through Hangar 37 and Hangar 79, the Restoration Hangar. Hangar 79 is a battlefield survivor that still bears the scars of the December 7, 1941 attack and features a 1940s Carrier Aircraft Service Unit rebuilt to wartime authenticity. You’ll see the restoration of aircraft using WWII tools. And view the aircraft awaiting restoration to join the Museum’s exciting collection. Your Aviator's Tour ticket also includes full access to 50+ aircraft and all exhibits, including WWII Hangars 37 & 79, MiG Alley, historical videos, the Museum Store, Laniakea Café and the award winning Pearl Harbor documentary East Wind, Rain.
