Experience an authentic geisha performance and entertainment with multi-course kaiseki dinner, kimono rental, and English host/interpreter at a ryoutei, or traditional Japanese restaurant, for a small group. After arriving at the traditional Japanese restaurant (ryoutei), you'll be greeted by your English guide and host, who will provide you with a yukata/ kimono to change into. Before your food is served, you can also mingle with other guests from around the world and make new friends.
As you begin your meal, the guide will introduce you to the culture and history of geisha, a tradition and practice of Japanese female entertainers that have been around for centuries. When the geisha arrive, they will be introduced to guests before pouring drinks for everyone and performing traditional dances and songs. The geisha will also introduce traditional Japanese games and guests can stir up conversation (with the help of the English guide), asking any questions they're curious of and topics they'd like to discuss.
After an eventful and exciting night meeting geisha and learning about the culture, take photos and say, "Sayoonara," to your new friends before you end your night!
