It also includes an amazing boat cruise in beneath the Cliffs of Moher. Departing from the Kinlay Hostel on Merchants Road, Galway, your fully trained, local driver/guide will take you on a wonderful journey along the Wild Atlantic Way, through the villages of Clarenbridge, Kilcolgan, Ballindereen, Kinvara and Ballyvaughan.
Turning right at Ballyvaughan, you will head south along the Clare coastline via the glacio-karst landscape of the Burren past Blackhead and Fanore, heading for the fishing village of Doolin where your ferry awaits to take you to Inisheer, the smallest of the Aran Islands.
Once on the island, you will have free time to explore and have lunch (own expense) before boarding the return ferry to Doolin.
The return ferry cruises in beneath the Cliffs of Moher on its journey to Doolin. From the ferry you can look up to view the impressive height of the Cliffs in all their glory.
Upon returning to Doolin, you will re-board your bus and be taken to the top of the Cliffs of Moher to see the majestic Cliffs of Moher from the summit, entry fee included. Once finished, you will make your way back to Galway again through the Burren and Lisdoonvarna, home to the world famous annual matchmaking festival.
As they say around here, "From the Cliffs you see the sea and from the sea you see the Cliffs."
