After early morning pickup from your Siem Reap hotel, travel to Angkor Archaeological Park, a dense wooded expanse designated a UNESCO World Heritage site for its rich array of ancient temples like Angkor Wat, Bayon and Ta Prohm, all ruins from the Khmer empire that lasted from 802 to 1431 AD.
Inside the park, visit the temple of Ta Prohm, and come upon ruins being reclaimed by the jungle. Follow a guide around the Bayon-style structure intertwined with massive, gnarly tree roots, and learn about the history and the mysteries of Ta Prohm, at one time a Buddhist monastery.

Afterward, it's time to hit the skies! Get fitted into a helmet and harness during a safety briefing for your Flight of the Gibbon zipline adventure. Built to ensure both fun and safety, the 2-hour course will be a hit for children (ages 6 and up) and adults alike. Bound from platform to platform, 21 in total, to explore the rainforest canopy. Zoom along 10 cables of varying lengths and heights, then trek across four sky bridges, ascend seven staircases and scramble into a treehouse.
Along the way, learn about the ecosystem from your knowledgeable guides (two per small group of nine), who explain how the locals use the plants. As you whiz through the canopy, soak up gorgeous views of the jungle and in the thicket, see if you can spot gibbons, small acrobatic tree-dwelling apes. Wrap it up with a 164-foot rappel descent to the forest floor.
Then settle in at a park restaurant for a delicious, traditional Cambodian lunch. Refueled, end your 6-hour tour with drop-off back at your Siem Reap hotel.
