Soar along Cambodia’s only zipline canopy circuit, located inside the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park. This Flight of the Gibbon adventure whisks you along 10 cables, four sky bridges and a steep rappel to the forest floor. Curious gibbons — branch-swinging apes — peer out from treetops to see how you’re doing. Then, feed your creative side as you paint a traditional Khmer mug or make an Angkorian bowl at a ceramics center. Bonus: This tour comes with lunch and transport. Enjoy morning pickup from your Siem Reap hotel and head to the UNESCO-listed Angkor Archaeological Park, a jungle area spanning 154 square miles (400 sq km), strewn with remains of the various capitals from the Khmer empire. Inside the park, begin your Flight of the Gibbon zipline adventure with a safety briefing. Get harnessed into top-of-the-line gear and get ready to fly through the canopy. Designed with fun and safety in mind, the 2-hour circuit is sure to provide a great experience for children (ages 6 and up) and adults alike.

Kick up your adrenaline as you sail along 10 ziplines of varying lengths and heights. Cross four suspended bridges, climb seven staircases and reach a treehouse that the kids will love. Then bounce your way down a 164-foot (50-meter) rappel to the forest floor.

On-site guides (two per small group of nine), called Sky Rangers, explain the plant life you see along the way and how it’s used by the local Khmer. Capture breathtaking views of the jungle and see if you can spot gibbons, small and acrobatic tree-dwelling apes.

Return your equipment, and then settle in at a park restaurant for a delicious and authentic Khmer-fare lunch.

Next, switch gears and visit the Khmer Ceramics Fine Art Centre in Siem Reap, dedicated to preserving the rich ceramic heritage of the Khmer empire. Try your hand at the potter’s wheel to make an Angkorian bowl and add Khmer carvings, or paint traditional designs onto elephant mugs and saucers. Whatever you do, you’ll end up with a memorable keepsake of this day.

Your full-day tour ends with return transport to your hotel.
