Our sunset semi-private trip designed for guests who prefer to avoid the crowds, enjoy safe and tranquil sailing, and value personal service. Activities include snorkeling, sightseeing, and you can also request optional kayaking.The Blue and Red Dragon Yachts offers unmatched levels of comfort and luxury cruising. With a spacious sun deck, open air covered decks, an on-board Jacuzzi, a comfortable indoor lounge, the yachts offers you all the personal space and privacy you might want and need. Tours provide personal service with a maximum of 14 guests on-board the Blue Dragon 62ft yacht and 30 guests aboard the Red Dragon 75ft yacht.
Our drivers will meet your group at your hotel between 8:30am and 9:20am and welcome you aboard. Your journey will begin just southwest of Koh Samui towards the Five Islands. These islands hold a mysterious and rarely seen phenomenon: the harvesting of bird`s nests.
During the voyage to the marine park appetizers will be served. You will be able to explore the magnificent scenery of the Gulf of Thailand, and you may be fortunate enough to also see families of dolphins and whales that make the Marine Park their home. We will cruise first to the northernmost islands of the park at Koh Wao.
Koh Wao consists of three islands with a shallow, sheltered bay in between, making it well-suited for snorkeling and scuba diving. You will be able to enjoy the underwater world of the Marine Park guided by our professional snorkeling leader/ PADI scuba instructor. We will spend about one hour snorkeling before cruising south, along Ang Thong park`s more appealing limestone islands which rise from the sea as dramatic rock cliffs and bizarre rock formations. Caves, hidden lagoons and white sand beaches are there to be explored. On the journey our crew will serve delicious appetizers while you also enjoy exceptional views of Monkey Island and Lion Island.
Once we arrive at Koh Mae Koh Island, you`ll be transferred to the beach. We`ll go for a climb through dense rain-forest and narrow ravines that will take us to a brilliant viewpoint which looks out over the surrounding islands. Here you will have time to enjoy the view and take some spectacular pictures. A short stroll downhill will take you to a hidden saltwater lake completely enclosed by walls, known as the Emerald Lake, nicknamed "The Blue Lagoon" in the movie "The Beach".
Next our crew will serve a delicious lunch while our journey takes us to the natural stone bridge at Samsao Island where you will have the option to go for a sea kayaking tour along the coastline, explore sensational cliffs and magical tunnels the park is famous for.
Later in the day, we will sail back to Koh Samui where, on the way, you will be able to take in the magnificent scenery of the Ang Thong marine park, Koh Phangan and Koh Samui as we pass by. At sunset, we will pass The Five Islands where the sunset views are truly amazing. At about 18:15 we will arrive back at the Koh Samui jetty where our cars will transfer you back to your accommodation.
