City Tour
After hotel pickup, this 2-hour tour begins at the Port of Anchorage. Enjoy views of the city as your guide explains the history of the port and the Ship Creek area.
Next, travel to Bootleggers Cove and Lake Hood, the busiest seaplane base in the world. Then, head to Earthquake Park to see the site of the memorial of the infamous 1964 earthquake. You’ll learn about what happened to the land as it broke apart and slid into the Cook Inlet.
Finally, take a scenic drive up to Flat Top Mountain, where you’ll enjoy beautiful views of the city and have a chance to spot wildlife including moose. A short walk takes you to an overlook where you’ll capture amazing views of the Chugach Mountains.
